Mavecy is a comprehensive business management platform that unifies the tools modern businesses need to run their operations. Instead of running a separate CRM, accounting system, HR tool, project manager, and support desk, Mavecy brings them all into one connected platform.
From lead management and client tracking to HR, finance, orders, tickets, and reporting, Mavecy gives growing businesses a single source of truth for everything they do. One login. One platform. One business under one roof.

The Challenge
Most growing businesses end up running their operations across a dozen disconnected tools. A CRM that does not talk to the accounting software. A project manager that does not sync with the calendar. An HR tool that lives separately from the team’s daily workflow. The bigger the business gets, the worse the data fragmentation becomes.
The founders behind Mavecy saw an opportunity. Off the shelf platforms like Salesforce, Zoho One, and Odoo do solve the all in one problem, but they come with three serious downsides for SMBs and growing businesses:
- Expensive licensing that scales painfully as the team grows
- Bloated feature sets that businesses pay for but never use
- Limited customisation because the platform belongs to someone else
The Mavecy team wanted to build a properly integrated business operating system, owned by them, with the modules a real business actually needs and none of the bloat it does not. They needed a custom platform partner who could architect serious software, not stitch together plugins.
What ZA TechLabs Did
We partnered with Mavecy to design and build a fully custom business management platform from the ground up. A senior development team handled architecture, design, and engineering across every module.
Platform Architecture We started with a foundational architecture session, mapping out how the modules would talk to each other, how data would flow between them, and how the platform would scale as new modules were added. Multi tenant architecture from day one, so Mavecy could serve unlimited businesses on a single codebase.
Core Modules We designed and built every module to integrate cleanly with the others. When a lead converts to a client, that data flows automatically. When work is logged on a project, finance sees it. When a support ticket comes in, it links to the client record.
Modules delivered:
- Dashboard (Private + Advanced) — analytics and KPI overview
- Leads — sales pipeline and lead tracking
- Clients — customer relationship management
- HR — staff management, leave, and team admin
- Work — project and task management
- Finance — invoicing, expenses, and financial tracking
- Orders — order processing and fulfilment
- Tickets — support ticketing and case management
- Calendar — scheduling and team availability
- Events — event planning and management
- Notice Board — internal company announcements
- Knowledge Base — documentation and team wiki
- Messages — internal team communication
- QR Code — quick access and asset tracking
- Reports — cross module business intelligence
Subscription & Multi Tenancy We built the SaaS layer that lets Mavecy onboard multiple businesses on the same platform, each with their own isolated data, users, and configuration. Subscription billing, tiered access control, and tenant administration all built in.
UI/UX Design We designed a clean, modern dashboard that makes 15+ modules feel like one connected experience. Consistent navigation, predictable layouts, and a left sidebar that makes the whole platform feel like one tool, not a stack of separate ones.
Launch & Continuous Iteration We took Mavecy from architecture diagrams to a live, production grade platform. The platform is now on version 6.0.07 and continues to evolve as we ship new features and refinements.
The Results
- 15+ integrated modules live and operating in production
- Multi tenant SaaS architecture ready to onboard unlimited businesses
- Continuous deployment with the platform now on version 6.0.07
- Connected data model where leads, clients, work, finance, and support all share one source of truth
- Full code ownership for the founders, with no platform lock in
