We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
Personal identifiers such as your name, email address and company details; usage data collected through cookies; communication data from support requests and consultations; and technical device data. We collect information directly through forms and automatically through tracking technologies.
When you use Nora, our AI assistant, your messages are processed by our configured AI service provider to generate replies. Chat-history emails are optional. If you choose email at Finish chat and confirm your address, separate copies go to you and the ZA TechLabs team. Choosing Finish without email sends neither party a transcript. Closing the panel, inactivity, WhatsApp clicks and leaving the page do not trigger transcript emails. The chat is kept in your browser session to continue between pages. Email copies are kept in the recipient mailboxes and handled under this policy. Requesting a copy does not subscribe you to marketing. Please do not share passwords, payment card details or other sensitive information in chat.
2. How we use your information
To provide and improve our services, analyse how our site is used, send updates and security alerts, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Sharing and disclosure
We share data only with contracted service providers, when required by law, in a merger or sale of assets (with notice to you), or with your explicit consent. Your data is never sold or rented to marketers.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use essential, analytics (such as Google Analytics) and preference cookies. You can manage cookies in your browser, although disabling some may affect how the site works.
5. Data security
We use safeguards such as encryption, access controls and monitoring, and restrict access to staff with a business need. No transmission over the internet is completely secure.
6. Data retention
We keep data only as long as necessary, then delete or anonymise it unless the law requires longer retention. Contact information is kept for the length of our relationship plus up to 24 months. Usage data is anonymised after 12 months. Transactional data is kept in line with financial regulations.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to opt out of certain processing. Send requests to privacy@zatechlabs.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Third party links
Our website links to client, partner and resource sites we do not control. Please review their privacy policies before sharing personal information.
9. Children’s privacy
Our services are for businesses and professionals and are not intended for anyone under 16. If we learn we have collected a child’s data, we will delete it promptly.
10. International transfers
Data may be processed in South Africa, the United States and the European Union, with safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses in place.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. Continued use of our services after an update counts as acceptance.
